  11. I am having a problem with a text file that I have.  It has its own icon, 
  12. and when I click on it I want it to automatically load the specified 
  13. Default Tool (c:Ed) and let me alter the text file.

  15. I put "c:Ed" in the icon's Default Tool, click on Save, then I 
  16. double-click on the icon to start it up.  Works fine.  However, when I 
  17. exit and try to double-click on the icon again, I get a requester stating 
  18. something to the effect that there is no tool ":E" or something like 
  19. that.  When I check the icon's Default Tool, it has indeed changed.

  21. I'm wondering why, once I set the icon's Default Tool, save it and 
  22. actually try the icon out, why does it work, and then turns around and 
  23. changes when I try it again?

  25. Has anyone else encountered this strange problem?
